Flora and Fauna 2 Reminder for CAS Mix Up

It's the 15th of the month and a reminder that
there's still time to join in at
CAS Mix Up.

This time I used Distress Markers, Stamps, Watercolor, and Colored Pencils.

I inked the flower stamp with Festive Berries and stamped.

Then I moved the color around with an Aqua Painter and
added some shading and details with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils.
This is a technique I learned during the Beautiful Details class at Altenew.
Marika (Me and Minime Crafting) taught the class.
I love all the details she adds.

I hope you'll come join us at

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

You certainly mastered that technique, Bonnie - the shading and details from the pencils is fabulous. Love the fussy cut flower to add dimension!

Such a lovely card, Bonnie. Love the butterfly touch and the soft background. And the coloring of the "main attraction"...vibrant colors and using pencil for detail. That much have been a terrific class and looks like you mastered this technique.

Oops--wanted to mention also what a heartfelt sentiment and how you made it a focal point along with the image...

I remember the first time I learned about using pencils over markers (or other ink). I just couldn't figure out why you'd need to both. Ha! So naive I was!

Lovely colors!
